This week in AP Lit we went outside and were asked to write three things that got us to this point in our life. When we got back to the classroom we talked about one of the events that we wrote. This activity showed me how the events of my life have led me to where I am today. On Thursday we set up our Weebly, and wrote a survey about ourselves as a reader and writer. The survey really helped how I have evolved as a reader and writer over my lifetime. The main theme of this week was that there is always room for improvement in our writing. This idea was revealed the most in when we watched the Shaped by Writing: The Freshman Experience. While we were watching the video we were asked to quote the video or describe our reactions to the video in a form on the room 202 weebly. We were then asked to state a comment that we liked from one of our classmates. My favorite comment was by Melissa Jensen who said that with the right mindset a bad grade can be motivating.
