This week in AP Lit we spent the week working on our multi modal project. At first I found this project quite difficult because I couldn't see a clear vision of the final product. Though later I found this project to be very enjoyable because due to the collaborative nature of it we all did are parts, and were able to bounce ideas off each other when creating the website. I found this to be very helpful given I was a role that at first seemed like it would be difficult. Being the graphic designer of the group I felt a little uneasy because I don't consider myself to be a tech wiz of any sort. This project taught me that I can step outside of the role that I usually play in a project, and be successful. It has also affirmed for me that there is more than just the traditional essay format to present information.
In viewing everyone's projects I found that the biggest thing I took notice of was how different groups presented the same book with different images, and videos. For example, Grace Zimmerman's group focused on the weather event being the wind while our group chose to focus on what Kabul was like before and after the war. We chose to focus on the war because it is heavily highlighted towards the end of the book, and it is something that has impacted many people.
